The only negative thing that they say about these trucks is that the fuel mileage isn't anywhere near what they said it could get. I think you hear that complaint about every gas powered vehicle these days.. I mean it is a truck and I bet it is better than average. In addition most people would probably see those closer to advertised fuel mileage if they would drive better... haha  |

My guess is that they're drivin' the hell out of these test trucks, so they probably never get into the "leaner" programming part of the tune... When I had the Denali, if I took it real easy, it seemed like the mileage would eventually jump up for a while. The first time I got on it, though, it'd take a half second or so for it to realize "oh, sh**! You want to GO! Ok, let me richen things back up again, so we can go.. ignore that slight clatter for a second... Ok! HERE we go!" BTW, the longer I had that truck, the less it had to "figure out" which mode I was in... Those exhaust tips stayed pretty dang black!  |

I have the opposite problem... The harder I am with this truck I get like 30mpgs pulling the trailer.
When I drive it nice I get 10...
