My name's Michael and I live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area of North Texas. I've been bouncing around from forum to forum for a few years now. I currently do not own a truck, but who knows when that might change? When I started on truck forums, I had a 2007 GMC Sierra Denali. For a multitude of reasons, I decided I should part ways with it. But, here are a few pictures of the truck doing some of the things I bought a truck for. The truck had the 6.2L engine with the 6 speed automatic transmission, had a cold-air intake on it, dual exhaust, and a Blackbear Tune. In the time I owned it, I also swapped out the stock wheels for 20" Gunner 6's with Yokahama Parada Spec-X tires, added the steps, a bed cover, and rails. My current vehicle is a Subaru Outback. I haven't done much to it yet. New wheels, window tint, a stiffer rear swaybar, and a front strut tower brace. Here are a few pictures of it doing things I like to do (but I don't get to do very often)...

When do you think "for now" will end?

When do you think "for now" will end? If money fell from the sky tomorrow, "for now" could end by tomorrow afternoon!

I guess we are all in the same boat... I won't buy another truck unless I pay cash for it.

Welcome aboard, nice truck always one of my favorites. Too bad you got rid of it, but understandable why you did. Regardless, it still ranks high among the trucks that I really like seeing.

Thanks, Jarrod! I liked it too.. There are times that I miss it. Most of the time, though, I know I made the right choice.. Although, if I had kept it, it would've been paid off loooong before now.. Oh well! Hindsight and all that..

That sure would have been nice to have... A NICE paid off truck... I am not trying to rub it in, but I did.

That sure would have been nice to have... A NICE paid off truck... I am not trying to rub it in, but I did. Yeah, work had spooked me about job cuts.. I think we had six people in our group and they said we were losing "at least 2 or 3." I figured I could make a smaller payment easier than the bigger one, so I traded for the Outback.. A lot more went into the decision, but that was "the trigger" for why I did it right then. In hindsight, I should've waited out the situation to see what actually happened vs. what they "said" was going to happen.. Live & learn... I was always kind of afraid of scratching/scraping/tearing something up when I took the truck off road.. For some reason, if something happens to the Outback, it doesn't bother me as much..

Sent from my DROID BIONIC using ProBoards Yeah, my next steps are to pay off the Outback, hang onto it as long as possible, pay down on the house to make sure I'm not upside down in it, and save up money for getting a place in Colorado.. I am SICK of these Texas summers..
